Supplier Spotlight ChariTea

Today we're glad to showcase one of our latest suppliers! Their delicious bottle of tea look so well in our vending machines that we wanted to learn more about Lemonade Beverages! Let's find out their answers!

// Who are Lemonaid Beverages?

Lemonaid Beverages is a social enterprise that produces a range of truly sustainable, sparkling soft drinks and real brewed iced teas.

// Tell us why your product / product range is unique?

Our Lemonaid and ChariTea are great tasting drinks, made how all soft drinks should be. With the best Fairtrade ingredients, all organically grown and straight from small certified farming cooperatives. What’s more we donate 5p with every bottle sold to our charitable organisation ‘Lemonaid & ChariTea e.V.’ to support social initiatives in our farmers’ local communities. So far we have raised more than £1,000,000 to help fund development projects in Sri Lanka, Paraguay, South Africa and Mexico.

// Share the story of how your brand came into being?

Lemonaid Beverages began in a small, shared flat in the vibrant town of St Pauli, Hamburg in 2009 with three friends on a mission to incite and shape the process of social change. They juiced limes, brewed tea, crushed sugar, invited friends over and clinked glasses until Lemonaid and ChariTea drinks were born.

// Tell us your favorite way to stay healthy?

A morning run outside, its good exercise and helps me to process my thoughts ahead of the day!
