Founder of the UK’s award-winning healthy snacking brand, Sara Roberts (Healthy Nibbles), has been shortlisted for Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Health and Wellbeing Entrepreneur of the Year.
Roberts founded Healthy Nibbles in 2015 as a vending solutions company and since then, they have gone from strength to strength disrupting the healthy snack box sector and developing an innovative solution to the future of the workplace, wellness hubs.
Speaking about the achievement, Roberts said: “I am genuinely delighted to have been shortlisted for Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Community Health and Wellbeing Entrepreneur of the Year Award.”
“It’s been a challenging year for most entrepreneurs; a rapid learning curve that has brought out the tough resilient spirit of founders. As a business, we rebranded, increased our headcount by over 50%, scaled the business, and made significant headway in sustainability and impact.” she added.
Despite the challenges of the past year, Healthy Nibbles also became members of 1% For the Planet; made the commitment to remove all palm oil from their products; volunteered over 80 hours of their time to global charities, not-for-profits and community initiatives; planted over 200 trees in 10 countries worldwide; and are currently on their B-Corp accreditation journey which they hope to finalise in the coming months.

Founded in 2013, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the United Kingdom.
