Our take on World Vegan Day
The future depends on what we do in the present.
With the prediction of more plastic than fish in the sea by 2050, unethical farming practices and a deceiving food labelling system, the time to act is now.
World Vegan Day is helping to increase awareness of alternative food choices and informing many of how their actions can contribute to establishing a more sustainable global food chain.
Though many of the health benefits which result from a vegan diet have been championed for some time, the increasing understanding of how pursuing a free from or plant-based diet can improve sustainability is more resonant than ever before, with a diverse audience now incorporating a myriad of aspects within their traditional nutritional focus.
We respect and embrace all dietary options because we are open to innovation and most importantly change. Ethics, transparency and sustainability always come first. Nature is not a place to visit, it is home.
