Our Sustainable Business

Our beliefs in action

Our beliefs in action

Being a young company our eyes are open to the damage caused by uncaring business. And for us that’s a powerful challenge to build our business better.  Championing health and wellbeing for people at the same time as committing to the highest standards of social and environmental impact.

Healthy Nibbles is a female-led business, committed to the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

In 2020, we made a commitment to become B-Corp accredited, which we hope to get in the bag during 2021. B-Corp businesses are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

Together, we are working toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of more high quality jobs with dignity and purpose.

Healthy Nibbles is one of only 450 companies in the UK to be a certified B Corporation.

The B Corp certification ensures that businesses meet the highest levels of social, environmental and legal transparency and that they adequately balance purpose and profit.

Our 2021 goals

Our 2021 goals

As we continue to build our business and our team, we also commit to building upon our positive impact on the planet. In 2021, our goals are as follows:

- Increase the number of plastic-free suppliers we use by 5%

- Cease working with any brands that use palm oil in their products

- Report on the impact of the supply chain we work with, celebrating diversity, sustainability and the wider impact. Did you know that 60% of our brands were built by minority founders?

- Finalise external accreditations: 1% for the Planet and Bcorp

- Report on recycling and waste reduction

- Report on the impact of giving back through mentoring, charity support, our ‘one small thing’ initiative, food banks and 1% for the planet.
